Vintage Hippie Bags from the 70s made in Afghanistan

This piece of item is the one I consider the most interesting as it is the oldest from new old stock dating back to the 70s.

It was made in Afghanistan in the 70s by a workshop owned by one guy from Amsterdam who went there when Afghanistan was a destination on the hippie trail.

The bag is very sturdy and handstichted, got signs of distress from being on display on market stall for so long

Production ended after the Soviet invasion and Afghanistan was never the same.
